What is the Drivershare Network?
The Relay Drivershare Network is an exclusive platform of carriers who share a quality pool of drivers to keep their trucks rolling. Each carrier who joins the network can instantly book a driver and create their own private driver pools of 2-3 drivers per truck you run on the network. As part of the Relay Network, every driver and carrier is pre-vetted which means you only do runs and work with high quality drivers with top-notch skills.
How does insurance work?
The first time you use a driver, Relay provides optional insurance to cover your truck and cargo. If you like working with the driver and decide you want to continue using the same driver, then you simply add him to your policy. We make it super easy to do with just the tap of a button from your Relay app.
Who takes care of DOT background checks, drug testing, compliance, and driver payments?
Relay saves you countless hours by taking care of all pre-vetting, background, and DOT requirements for onboarding drivers and ensures they are all enrolled in a drug consortium program. In addtion, Relay takes care of all payroll payments to the drivers and the neccesary IRS filings.
How much does it cost?
You need a monthly membership to join the network. Once you join the network you'll be able set your own pay rates for the drivers you use. In addition, there is a Network fee that is charged as a percentage of the driver pay and a 3.5% credit card fee if you opt to pay using a debit or credit card. Relay takes care of all payroll payments to the drivers you use saving you lots of time and money. As a carrier, you are charged via credit card at the end of each run or weekly by ACH through Relay.
Can I hire drivers directly to use outside of the Relay Network?
No. Any driver you use on the Relay Network cannot be hired to work outside of Relay. However, we make it super easy if you want use the same driver over and over again. You'll find that having a pool of 2-3 drivers for each of your trucks is a much more profitable way to operate your business than the old way of trying to hire one driver for one truck.

We have stricter standards than most insurance carriers for drivers. Having a good driving record is a must.
Background and History
Drivers must have a minimum of 2 years experience. We verify every driver's application, history, and use our smart algorithm to look at over 100+ data points to determine if the driver is a good fit considering their safety, performance, professionalism, personality, attitude, and more.
