New December 2021 Relay Features
We’re excited to announce some new features that will further enhance your experience on the Relay Network.
1. Introducing the Relay Acceptance Predictor
The Relay Acceptance Predictor will now give you immediate feedback on the orders you place. The Relay Acceptance Predictor will give you a RAP Score, which is a number that ranges from 0 – 100.
Simply put, the higher your RAP Score, the higher the likelihood that your order will be accepted by a driver in your area.
The RAP Score for an order is calculated by numerous factors including, but not limited to: the amount of time in advance you placed the order, how many working hours the run requires, the driver pay rate, and driver availability in your area.
The system will now take all of these factors into consideration when you place an order, and give you an immediate idea on the likelihood your order gets picked up by a driver.
You can now use the information given to you from your RAP Score to ensure that your runs get picked up when you need them to.
2. New & Improved Help Center
We’ve revamped our Help Center to ensure you have the necessary resources available to you to guide your success on the Relay Network.
Directly from your smartphone or carrier portal, you can now access the Carrier Help Center for tips & tricks, best practices, and more.
If you need an step-by-step guide on rating a driver, adding a driver to your Preferred Network, or how to use any other feature on the Relay Network, the Help Center will be your one-stop-shop for all of this information.
With this revamped Help Center, you can now get the answers you need at the tap of a button whenever you need them.
3. Select Your Preferred Driver Tiers
Relay Drivers will now be categorized into 3 separate tiers — Vetted, Certified Pro, and Certified Elite.
Certified Elite (TIER 1) drivers are drivers who have exceeded all Relay certification requirements and have been highly rated by other carriers on the Network. Certified Elite drivers also have more than 3 years of CDL A experience, a clean driving record, and are fully comfortable with both manual and automatic trucks.
Certified Pro (TIER 2) drivers are drivers who have met all Relay certification requirements, but may be newer on the Relay Network. Certified Pro drivers have more than 3 years of CDL A experience, less than 2 violations on their driving record, and are fully comfortable with both manual and automatic trucks.
Vetted (TIER 3) drivers are drivers who are DOT compliant, but have not completed the Relay certification process because they do not have enough experience on the Relay Network. Vetted drivers have at least 2 years of CDL A experience, less than 2 violations on their driving record, or are NOT fully comfortable driving both manual and automatic trucks.
You can view the details of these tiers and set your preferences in the settings on your Relay Account.
4. Quickly Create Amazon Solo 1 & Solo 2 Runs
If you do Amazon tours, we have added a quick and easy way for you to create orders even faster now.
Using the Amazon Local – Solo One or Amazon Overnight – Solo Two options, you can simply select the task and the app will automatically generate the estimated amount of working hours for that run.
Be sure to update the Relay on Demand app from your app store today or login to your carrier portal on your computer to get access to these new features!
