What are Driver Tiers? How do they affect me as a Relay Driver?
Driver Tiers are calculated from your relevant verified work experience and rating based on reviews from Carriers on the network. The better your Driver Tier the more and higher paying runs you’ll see and have access to.
Tier 1 – Certified Elite
Clean MVR , 5 star ratings, 25+ completed Relays, drives both manual and auto.
Tier 2 – Certified Pro
1 or less MVR violations, 3+ years continuous recent tractor trailer experience, 4.5 star ratings, drives both manual and auto.
Tier 3 – Vetted Only
2 or less MVR violations, at least 2 years of experience, 4.5 star ratings, or can only drive auto.
How do I improve my Driver Tier rating?
After every 15 Relay runs your tier gets recalculated based on your ratings and reviews. Every time you accept and complete a run carriers review your performance in the following categories…
Attitude – The carriers are rating you based on how positive your attitude is to work with and how willing and helpful you are to help solve issues on the road.
Communication – You get rated based on how well you communicate when on the road. Do you let carriers know of issues as soon as they happen? Do you respond quickly to carrier messages and calls?
Timeliness – You are rated on how well you keep up with pick up and delivery times on runs. You should always strive to be safe and efficient when you are getting from point A to point B and checking in/out of places during your runs.
Professionalism – Demonstrate you are a safe driver and ensure you approach all things in a professional manner. Using fowl language, complaining, not wearing your Relay safety vest, etc will negatively impact your rating.
