What are Driver Tiers? How do they affect me as a carrier?
Driver Tiers are calculated from the driver’s relevant verified work experience and rating based on reviews from other Carriers on the network. See below for the specific requirements for each driver tier and what it means for you.
How are Driver Tier ratings calculated?
After every 15 Relay runs the driver’s tier gets recalculated based on carrier ratings and reviews. Every time a driver accepts and completes a run carriers review their performance in the following categories…
Attitude – How positive the driver’s attitude is to work with and how willing and helpful the driver is to help solve issues on the road.
Communication – How well the driver communicates when on the road. Do they let carriers know of issues as soon as they happen? Do they respond quickly to carrier messages and calls?
Timeliness – How well the drivers keeps up with pick up and delivery times on runs. Drivers should always strive to be safe and efficient when you are getting from point A to point B and checking in/out of places during their runs.
Professionalism – How the drivers demonstrates they are a safe driver and that they approach all things in a professional manner. Using fowl language, complaining, etc can negatively impact a driver’s rating.
